Open the Dialer app and dial
*#06#. If an EID barcode with a 32-digit number appears, your device supports eSIM.2

Confirm your phone is carrier-unlocked
eSIM hardware isnβt enough β the phone must also be carrier-unlocked. See Carrier lock check below.

Carrier lock check
Even with eSIM hardware, a carrier-locked phone canβt install international eSIMs.- iOS: Settings β General β About β Carrier Lock. It must say No SIM restrictions.
- Android: Settings β Connections β Mobile networks β Network operators β turn off βSelect automaticallyβ. If other networks appear and can be selected, the phone is likely unlocked.
