QR Pay turns the USDT in your Fizen wallet into everyday spending at shops, cafes and markets that accept local QR codes.

What you need

  • The Fizen Super App on your phone
  • A Fizen wallet, created or imported in the app
  • USDT on Solana or BNB Chain in that wallet
  • A few minutes for identity verification

Get the Fizen Super App

Download the app and open QR Pay from the home screen

The four steps

1

Create or import your Fizen wallet

Create a new wallet in the app, or import an existing one with your seed phrase. The wallet is self custody, so write the seed phrase down and keep it offline. See Set Up Wallet.
2

Get USDT on Solana or BNB Chain into the wallet

Tap Receive, choose USDT and the Solana or BNB Chain network, then send USDT to that address. If your USDT sits on another network, move it across with Swap & Bridge in the app first.Depositing on Solana needs a little SOL in your wallet for gas. On BNB Chain the deposit costs no gas fee.
3

Deposit from your wallet into QR Pay

Open QR Pay, complete identity verification, then tap Deposit and enter the amount. Details in Deposit into QR Pay.
4

Scan and pay

Tap Scan, point the camera at the merchant’s QR code, check the merchant name and the amount in local currency, then swipe to confirm. Details in Scan and Pay.

Where QR Pay works, and for whom

QR Pay is for cross border use, so you cannot pay merchants in your home country. Your home country comes from your identity verification. This means residents of Vietnam cannot use QR Pay inside Vietnam, and residents of the Philippines cannot use it inside the Philippines, while both can use it when they travel elsewhere.
The Fizen wallet is self custody. QR Pay works differently: USDT you move into QR Pay is governed by the Fizen QR Pay Terms, so only move in what you plan to spend.
