Tokenized U.S. Stocks & ETFs is the investing feature of the Fizen Super App. It gives people outside the United States access to 100+ tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs, issued by Ondo Finance, which you buy and sell with USDT or USDC on Ethereum directly from your own Fizen wallet. No brokerage account is needed.
Investing, not saving. Prices can fall as well as rise, and you can lose some or all of what you put in. Not available to U.S. Persons. Nothing on this page is financial advice. Read the Tokenized Securities Terms before you trade.

What it is

A tokenized stock is a blockchain token that tracks the price of a share listed in the U.S. market. In Fizen, each token is issued by Ondo, which holds the underlying securities with third-party custodians. Token names are the ticker plus “on”: AAPLon tracks Apple, NVDAon tracks NVIDIA, SPYon tracks the SPDR S&P 500 ETF. The token is not the share itself. As the Terms (section 7.4) put it, it “is a tokenized representation”. Your rights (dividends, voting, corporate actions, redemption) are defined by Ondo and may be less than those of a direct shareholder.

How it works

You hold a stablecoin in your own Fizen wallet, pick a token and an amount, then sign the trade yourself. The token settles straight back to your wallet, usually within a few minutes, and selling works the same way in reverse. Step by step with screenshots: Buy Tokenized Stocks and Sell Tokenized Stocks. How the tokens are backed, priced and settled is in How It Works.

Key facts

KYC, trading hours, dividends and fees are covered in detail where they are kept up to date: How It Works for backing, pricing and settlement, the FAQ for KYC, dividends and taxes, and the Tokenized Securities Terms for the full fee schedule. Every cost is shown in the app before you confirm a trade.

Who it is for

  • People outside the U.S. who already hold stablecoins and want exposure to well-known U.S. companies and ETFs without opening a foreign brokerage account
  • Crypto users who want part of their portfolio linked to the traditional stock market, held in their own wallet
  • Anyone who wants to buy small amounts, since tokens can be bought in fractions
It is not for money you need to keep safe or may need soon. Tokenized stocks are an investment, and their value can fall. Consider independent advice before you invest.
