# Ondo Finance

> Ondo Finance is the issuer of the tokenized U.S. securities available through the Fizen Super App.

## Who is Ondo?

Ondo Finance is one of the first protocols to bring traditional assets such as U.S. government bonds and U.S. stocks onto the blockchain through tokenization (Real World Assets, or RWA). Ondo is backed by major investors such as Founders Fund and Pantera Capital, and works with BlackRock, the world's largest asset manager.

## Ondo's role

Under the [Tokenized Securities Terms](https://docs.fizen.io/tokenized-rwa.md) (section 2.3):

* **Ondo is the issuer** of the tokens. It issues, redeems and structures them.
* Ondo (or one of its affiliates) **holds the underlying securities** that back the tokens.
* Ondo decides which tokens are listed or de-listed.
* Ondo's own terms, offering documents and eligibility rules apply to every token.

## Fizen's role

Fizen integrates Ondo's tokenized securities into the Fizen Super App. Through Ondo's API, Fizen shows the catalogue of tokens, information about the underlying securities, Net Asset Value (NAV) and other data, so you can see what you are buying.

Fizen is a user-interface layer. It does not issue the tokens, does not hold your funds or tokens, and does not recommend any token or give investment advice. Trades are signed in your own wallet and executed on-chain through 1inch Fusion against liquidity providers onboarded by Ondo. See [How It Works](https://docs.fizen.io/help-center/fizen-us-stocks/how-it-works.md).
