# Create a Fizen Wallet

> Download the Fizen Super App and set up your self-custody wallet before you trade tokenized U.S. stocks.

You need a Fizen wallet in the Fizen Super App to buy and sell tokenized U.S. stocks.

**1. Download the app**

Go to the App Store or Google Play, search for **Fizen Super App** and install it.

**2. Choose your language**

Open the app and set it to your preferred language.

**3. Tap Set up Wallet**

Tap **Set up Wallet** to start creating your personal Fizen wallet.

**4. Create or import a wallet**

Select **Create a new wallet** to generate a new Fizen wallet, or **Import existing wallet** to keep using one you already have.

Create a new wallet or import an existing one

**5. Set a password**

Enter a password, confirm it, add a referral code if you have one, and tap **Create Wallet**.

**6. Back up your wallet**

Back up your wallet with a **passkey** (linked to your Apple or Google account) or **manually with your secret phrase**. The backup lets you recover your wallet if you change phone or reinstall the app.

Back up with a passkey or manually with your secret phrase

> **Backing up is mandatory.** If you back up manually, keep your 12-word secret phrase safe and never share it with anyone. The Fizen wallet is self-custody: Fizen does not store your secret phrase and cannot recover your wallet if you lose it.
