# Transfer Between QR Pay Accounts

> Send part of your QR Pay balance to another QR Pay user with their phone number or QR Pay ID.

You can move balance from your QR Pay account to another QR Pay user, which is handy for splitting a bill or paying back a travel companion.

**1. Tap Transfer**

Open QR Pay and select **Transfer**.

**2. Enter the recipient**

Enter their **phone number** or **QR Pay ID**. Check it with them before you continue.

**3. Enter the amount and confirm**

Enter the amount, review what is shown, then swipe to confirm.

> Both sides need a QR Pay account with [identity verification](https://docs.fizen.io/help-center/fizen-qr-pay/kyc.md) completed. Transfers count towards your [limits](https://docs.fizen.io/help-center/fizen-qr-pay/limits-and-fees.md) in the same way payments do.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Sending USDT to someone outside QR Pay is a different job. Use the wallet's own send function, or **Send Money** in the app, rather than QR Pay.
