# Limits and Fees

> QR Pay limits per payment and per week, how fees are shown before you confirm, and how referral fee vouchers work.

## Limits

| Limit | Amount |

| Per payment | US\$800 |
| Per week, per user | US\$1,000 |

There is no limit on the number of payments in a day. Transfers between QR Pay accounts count towards the same limits.

> Paying for something above US\$800, such as a hotel bill? Ask whether the merchant can split it into separate QR codes, or pay the balance another way.

## Fees

Any fee is shown in the app **before you confirm**, so you always see the total before you swipe. Fees depend on the payment, which is why we do not quote a single fixed number here.

## Referral fee vouchers

Inviting friends earns fee vouchers that reduce what you pay in fees:

* Up to **US\$50** in fee vouchers in total.
* Applied at a maximum of **US\$0.20 per payment**.

> The old 5% bonus for holding a QR Pay balance has ended. A new programme is on the way and will be announced in the app.
