# QR Pay FAQ

> Quick answers about QR Pay: who can use it, funding, KYC, limits, fees and what happens with the wrong network.

> **Who can use QR Pay?**
>
> In Vietnam and the Philippines, QR Pay is for visitors and foreigners. It is for cross border use, so residents cannot use it to pay at home, though they can use it when they travel elsewhere. In Latin America, where QR Pay is coming next, it will be open to everyone including residents.

> **How do I fund QR Pay?**
>
> With **USDT on Solana or BNB Chain**, moved from your Fizen wallet. See [Deposit into QR Pay](https://docs.fizen.io/help-center/fizen-qr-pay/deposit.md).

> **Do I need gas to deposit?**
>
> On **BNB Chain**, no: the deposit costs no gas fee. On **Solana**, yes: keep a small amount of **SOL** in your wallet to cover gas, otherwise the deposit cannot go through.

> **Can I link a bank account or a card?**
>
> No. There is no bank link and no card top up for QR Pay, and you cannot deposit local currency such as VND or PHP.

> **What happens if I send USDT on the wrong network?**
>
> USDT on another network, or another token, cannot be deposited into QR Pay. Use **Swap & Bridge** in the app to move it to Solana or BNB Chain, then deposit.

> **Do I need KYC on every device?**
>
> Yes. Verification applies per wallet and per device, so using QR Pay on a new phone means verifying again there. See [Identity Verification](https://docs.fizen.io/help-center/fizen-qr-pay/kyc.md).

> **How does QR Pay relate to my Fizen wallet?**
>
> Your Fizen wallet is self custody and you hold the keys. From it you deposit the USDT you plan to spend into QR Pay, and that balance is governed by the [Fizen QR Pay Terms](https://docs.fizen.io/fizen-qr-pay.md). Only move in what you plan to spend.

> **What are the limits?**
>
> US$800 per payment and US$1,000 per week per user. There is no limit on how many payments you make in a day.

> **Are there fees?**
>
> Any fee is shown before you confirm a payment. Referrals earn fee vouchers worth up to US$50 in total, applied at a maximum of US$0.20 per payment.

> **Which QR codes can I pay?**
>
> In Vietnam: VietQR bank codes, VNPay, MoMo and ZaloPay. In the Philippines: QR Ph. In Vietnam the code must belong to a Vietnamese account holder.

> **My payment failed. What now?**
>
> Work through [Why a Payment Fails](https://docs.fizen.io/help-center/fizen-qr-pay/why-a-payment-fails.md). If a payment is still processing, do not pay again, because you may pay twice.

> **Can I send my QR Pay balance to another user?**
>
> Yes, to another QR Pay account using their phone number or QR Pay ID. See [Transfer Between QR Pay Accounts](https://docs.fizen.io/help-center/fizen-qr-pay/transfer.md).
