# Purchase and Activate an eSIM

<Note>
  **Before you buy:**

  * Activate your eSIM **before departure** for immediate connectivity on arrival
  * Check device compatibility: **Settings → Cellular/Mobile → Add eSIM** — if this option appears, your device supports eSIM

## Purchase an eSIM

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open eSIM section">On the home screen, select **eSIM**.</Step>
  <Step title="Enter country name">Search for the destination country.</Step>
  <Step title="Choose a package">Select based on validity period, data amount (MB/GB per day), and coverage area.</Step>
  <Step title="Select payment token and confirm">Choose your token and complete the purchase.</Step>

## Activate your eSIM

After purchase, follow the activation instructions sent to your Fizen app notification or email. Activation steps vary by device — refer to your phone's eSIM setup guide if needed.
