In Fizen, each token is issued by **Ondo**, which holds the underlying securities with third-party custodians. Token names are the ticker plus "on": AAPLon tracks Apple, NVDAon tracks NVIDIA, SPYon tracks the SPDR S\&P 500 ETF. The token is not the share itself. As the [Terms](https://docs.fizen.io/tokenized-rwa.md) (section 7.4) put it, it "is a tokenized representation". Your rights (dividends, voting, corporate actions, redemption) are defined by Ondo and may be less than those of a direct shareholder. *** ## How it works You hold a stablecoin in your own Fizen wallet, pick a token and an amount, then sign the trade yourself. The token settles straight back to your wallet, usually within a few minutes, and selling works the same way in reverse.
